TRUFFLE OIL
Packaging Design • Illustration • Branding
Truffle oil from Piedmont — hand-harvested, limited batch, matte black glass, €90 a bottle. A product that needs no introduction, but needs a shell. The client came without an idea, but with a brief — package it so you can tell from the shelf: this isn't just a product.

A centuries-old oak on the label. Every branch, every root — by hand. The canopy reaches skyward, the roots plunge into earth — like the truffle itself: what's hidden is worth more than what's seen. A beige oval with an aged patina on matte black glass. Reads in a second: rarity, value, provenance.

The bottle doesn't go in a cupboard — it goes on display. Gifted without occasion. Photographed. Recognised on the shelf from three metres. The empty one — kept. The packaging became what it had to: an extension of the product.
